Maybe you can afford one of those fancy pressure activated ones, not me!
This one is made from a coat hangar & small lead weight.
Just clip it on your line, stick the descender through from gill side and out the mouth. Release the line and send your rockfish back to “Davey Jones Locker”. The rockfish just swims straight off the front end.
