They set up a small rotary fish trap on a local river so they could check the fish.
Right under one of the bridges that I cross on a regular basis!
It’s small, but they did need to assemble it while it sits in the river.
Rotary design, so it just turns slowly and fish get funneled into a catch bin. They tell me they are getting Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon and lots of Rainbow Trout. They might even catch Cutthroat Trout or Brown Trout because they are in the area as well, but they haven’t caught any of those yet.
