These will precisely trim the depth of your primer pockets. They also do a great job of cleaning the primer pockets.
Uniforming the primer pockets is a “One Time” case prep step. Once you’ve done it you’ll never really need to do it again.
Do you need to do it? NO, but it is very satisfying to most handloaders, you get nice flat, clean, beautiful primer pockets to work with.
Remember! If you have a Uniforming Tool, you don’t really need a cleaner because the uniformer will first clean, then uniform the primer pocket.
