Bell 206L, we didn’t usually use these that often but they were O.K. to work on. Not really anymore complicated than a regular old Bell 206.
This was about 2 weeks of operating fuel at the “Tuk Base” for “Polar Continental Shelf Research Project”
This was really a great jobsite to work on. We had really good facilities to work out of, I spent 2 full summers working on choppers here and managed to get a “One on One” University education from all the researchers at the base.
They all knew that if I had one small question for them they would be involved in a 2 hour discussion, all the researchers were really great about it. I really appreciated the time they took to answer all my “Stupid Questions” & the things I learned?
That’s for another day. haha
