Can you say? BULLET HAUL! Say it with me, just a little louder now, “BULLET HAUL”, a rare beast she is when you get a bullet haul.
O.K. let’s get the “Brass” picture out of the way so I can tell ya about the “BULLET HAUL”!

We got some rifle cases, always a good score, some .45’s and some 9mm’s or .40’s (can’t remember & can’t really tell from the pic & don’t really care at this point)
On to the Bullet haul.

Every once in a while in the “Tedious” life of a “Brass Goblin” the “Fairies” look down on him and say …..
“Let today be his day! So it shall be & he shall be blessed.”

So here’s what happened. I’m walking around the range before my shooting session looking for useful brass etc. When I step into the covered shelter where there’s a couple guys just B.S. ing, I spot a bunch of .45 acp casings on the floor, so I casually ask the guys if they are picking up brass. They both say “No were not interested you can take it all if you want”. So I thank them both and proceed to pick up brass, I have neglected to mention that I had also, earlier spotted two handfuls of rifle brass on one of the tables. Well I confirm again that the rifle brass is good to go and they both say, “Yep, take it all”
I’m about to move along to another range and they both blurt out “You can take the bullets too, if you want them, some guy named Dave just left and he said they were of no use to him, so he just left them.”
Well Holy Crap!
A plastic box with 63, Hornady XTP 300 grain .452 Jacketed Hollow point bullets. Can we say “Score”?

When I first entered the shelter I spotted the .45’s & the rifle brass but never even thought twice about the “Empty red ammo box”. I mean, come on, empty ammo boxes are all over the place, and they’re not really that useful most of the time.
The Goblin Gods were shinin’ down on me that day.
