PMAG brand AICS 5.56 cal. 10 shot mags for the Ruger American Ranch, Bolt Action.
The rifle originally shipped with a modded, 10 shot AR pattern mag. A good choice in some cases.
It’s an easy mod, just swap out the magwell for the intended mag type. There are 3 types to choose with this rifle.
My “Hunting Rifle” Configuration will be, Ruger Rotary 5 Shot mags, 1 in rifle, 1 spare.
For Bench shooting, Plinking or Competition use, the PMAG AICS mags can be used.
These mags are pricey but I think they are a “Worthy” upgrade. We’ll see if I can come up with a custom load that works well in all of them! haha
