Jet is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 2001 by brothers Nic Cester (vocals/guitar) and Chris Cester (drums), along with guitarist Cameron Muncey and bassist Mark Wilson. They broke through internationally with their 2003 debut album Get Born, delivering a raw, garage-rock sound heavily influenced by classic acts like AC/DC and the Rolling Stones.
“Cold Hard Bitch,” released as a single in 2004 from Get Born, is one of the album’s heaviest tracks—a straightforward, hard-driving rocker written by the Cester brothers and Muncey. The song became a major radio hit, especially on rock formats.
- Written by Nic Cester, Chris Cester, and Cameron Muncey
- Reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock charts
- Peaked at No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100
- Charted at No. 33 in Australia
This tough, no-frills rocker remains one of Jet’s most energetic and enduring tracks.
