Consider shooting pistol bullets in your rifle? It’s all about bullet diameter and not necessarily just length and advertised usage.
.32 Cal. pistol bullets can easily be resized for use in .30 Cal. rifles, .38 Spl & .357 Mag Bullets can also be used in Calibers like .35 Remington or .35 Whelen.
Finding load data may be a little more difficult but it’s out there.
As long as it will feed and function properly then it’s time to try some smaller lighter, pistol bullets in your rifle. (Especially for small game).
