Spectacular choice for small game, longer range than standard .22, harder hitting.
In Canada this would be considered the “De Facto Standard” for beaver pest control problems. Small predator control made easy with .22 Magnum, great for big Jack Rabbits too.
Unfortunately .22 Magnum ammo is very expensive to shoot in Canada, almost $30 – $35 per box. Ouch!
If you can’t afford to practice with your hunting/trapping/survival gun once in a while then you need to keep looking for one that might be a better choice.
