This was done with a Lee 18 Cavity #4 Buckshot Mold. This is one of the most difficult and satisfying molds to learn how to use.



My quality of buckshot really varies but that’s O.K., I can still use it for many things.





The best is kept and powder coated and set aside for later use.




These molds are a little more expensive and you also have to buy handles but they are worth it!

A bunch of this is really nice to have on hand for shotshell “Hobo Loads”.

Aside from shotgun shooting, I also use #4 Buckshot sized down to .225 Cal. for use as “Subsonic Small Game Ammo” in my .223 Bolt Action Rifle! haha
