Yep! It’s there, it’s just my crappy phone that takes the worst pictures of birds ever! haha

Bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) are large birds of prey native to North America, with a wingspan of 6 to 8 feet and a body length of 2.5 to 3 feet. They can weigh 7 to 14 pounds, with females being larger than males. Their distinctive white head and tail feathers develop at 4-5 years of age. They primarily feed on fish, especially salmon, but also eat birds, mammals, and carrion. Bald eagles can live up to 20-30 years in the wild.

Bald eagles build massive nests, often 5-6 feet wide and 2-4 feet deep, typically in tall trees or on cliffs near water. They mate for life and return to the same nest each year, adding to it annually. A single clutch usually contains 1-3 eggs, which hatch after about 35 days. Both parents incubate eggs and care for eaglets.

Get out there, get some sun, see some natural sights!
