Well, it’s late into August and the Blackberry Picking Season is all but over.
These are invasive Himalayan Blackberries, you know what that means? The best ones, much bigger, sweeter, tasty berries.
These make great security hedges also! Nothing big gets through!
You’ll need about 3 Liters, (3000 ml) for a full batch of jam etc. Once they come into season about mid July then you can pick one small 450 ml container in about 10 minutes, do this 4 days in a row and you have enough to freeze and make jam when you want. Pick extras to freeze for cereal!
