In an unprecedented move the “Government of Fish & Fishy Things” said “There is NO conflict between commercial & recreational Prawn Fishers” in front of Tent Island, the traditional harvesting area of at least 765 local Recreational Prawn Trappers.

Due to the unforeseen Global spread of Covid 19 during the spring of 2020 the commercial prawning season got off to a start about a month late.
At least 4 of the Licensed Commercial Prawners in the area reported that they had returned at least 17 undersized Spot Prawns during the commercial season, these prawns are expected to reach harvestable size by September so there is no reason to worry, “There’s lots of prawns for everyone” rejoiced a spokesperson for the “Government of Fish & Fishy Things”.
