First oystering trip of 2021 in the books!
Moon Snails were out as well!
“Purple Starfish” were fun to see, nice & healthy.
I really should have known better, “Next time put your gloves on as soon you hit the beach Dummy”
I used a short thin east coast oyster knife to get in then I switched to a longer west coast knife for the “Coup de Gras”
After you struggle with the first oyster, you begin to doubt whether it was all worth it. Once you see a bowl full it seems worth it!
