The Nanaimo, BC, ferry terminal is a giant failure, out in the sticks, few services. I have very little so say about this terminal. Do yourself a favor and arrive in Nanaimo at “Departure Bay”.
If you just want to get to the island and head south towards Victoria then this terminal might work but otherwise go to “Departure Bay” which is basically downtown Nanaimo, a much better choice for tourists.
