There’s a reason why I served “Plain boiled carrots” as a side dish this last Christmas!

After dinner was done and all the guests went home I had leftovers. I knew I would, because I made extra. The reason I made plain boiled carrots and lots of them was so I could dehydrate a bunch of them after cutting into cubes, for use in soups & fried rice, both of which I make once in a while.

Now, I’ll have all the shelf stable cooked, cubed carrots I’ll need for a long time to go in my other meals as well as dried lightweight ingredients for hiking meals!

Dehydrators aren’t that expensive, get one and learn to use it!
