Pre-Cook Day

Sundays are “Pre-Cook Day”. That’s when I restock the fridge with food for lunches and dinners etc.

I like to have pasta, either spaghetti or macaroni on hand at all times, as well as cooked potatoes & rice.

It’s nice to know you have cooked food in the fridge in case of emergencies or just fast meals. You can eat it cold if you have to and if you have to grab and run (Evacuate), then you can.

Make sure to cool it down on the counter before it goes in the fridge. Added bonus – you’ll have day old rice for great fried rice at least one night of the week.

I like to use wide mouth mason jars, they’re clear so you can see what’s inside, they come in a variety of sizes that work and you can freeze them if you want to!

Pick some foods you like and “Pre-Cook” some so you always have something easy to eat.
