It’s been a long, long time ….. it was due for a good waxing.
Hint! Once you get the tip all waxed up good it slides right in, nice and tight like a greased hinge pin.
You should try it, you’ll like it.

This is the wax I opted for. It looked newish, worked great, my multi-piece takedown pack rods all slide together really smoothly now, like they were new. Only after taking the photo and looking at it closely do I now realize that it is “Dubbing Wax” for use in “Fly Tying”
Either way it doesn’t really matter, it worked great, I’ll have to do it again in 2045.

This was the contents of a medium peanut butter jar full of “Archery” supplies. One or two cakes of wax came from “3 Rivers Archery”, 3 are actually Beeswax and I seem to recall that I got them from a “Farmer’s Market” somewhere?
The “Tex-Tite” was purchased in the late 1980’s and is still quite usable.
Green & Red were both purchased recently. I didn’t need wax when I got these but I try to buy at least “Something” if I visit a store. Just the way I am?
The black thing is an “Arrow Puller” that I used to carry when I was out “Stump Shooting” but I’ve never really needed it, I still carry a broadhead puller just in case though.
