There’s only one type of match on my list these days!
We used to call them “Lifeboat Matches” or “Windproof Matches”. These are my second choice for fire starting after a “Lighter” and just before “Fire Steel”.
Cigarette matches are probably the worst choice!
Get yourself a good match holder if you go this route.
Matches are a low priority for me these days. One good Bic and a quality “Jet” lighter as backup is my “Go To”.
