Hunting Cast Iron

Even though I’m not really looking to add anything it’s still fun to look! Here’s a quick look at a typical stop – as seen at a nearby “Antique Shop” in Chemainus, BC.

The smallest Cornbread Stick pan I’ve ever seen! Pricey too!

The “Usual” stack of skillets I’ve seen before and saw again today. Only the cornbread pan was new.

A new Stack of 3 that was kind of interesting.

A McLary & a Wagner that were of no interest, they were both spinners and I don’t have any need for more skillets of the “Normal” variety.

This Taiwanese made Levcoware was very interesting though. I have Levcoware in use currently however it’s all Japanese made? This one was marked as a size 2 from what I could read and it is the same size as my No. 9 made in Japan.

Finally I spotted a couple of cast iron Door Stoppers shich I don’t collect but a lot of people do!

This is what a typical one stop shop and look for cast iron is like, sometimes you find something and sometimes you don’t? Have fun looking!
