If you’re coming to Vancouver Island and thinking that you can just boondock a campsite you are sadly mistaken.
A lot of places you think you’re going to go will be locked off with gates, especially if you are south of Comox. The forestry companies own giant swaths of prime wild country around these parts. Plan ahead.
