Savage Model 300f Trapper

The Savage 300f is actually marked “Stevens 300f” for those that care. It has only been available in Canada as far as I know. In Canada it is considered a “Non-Restricted” firearm. Complete with factory manufactured 13″ Barrel there is basically no market for it in the U.S.A. It is identical to the standard Savage MK II and has no special trigger. This one pictured above has been fitted with an “Evolution Gun Works” 1 piece optics mounting rail. As sold new it had a large tag attached to it from the factory stating that “Usable accuracy beyond 25 yards was not guaranteed”.

Savage Model 305f Trapper
.22 WMR Cal., Bolt Action Rifle
The 305f Trapper Model is basically the same rifle as the 300f but it is chambered in .22 WMR. 5 or 10 shot mags are available for this rifle. If .22 WMR is your choice then this little Bolt Action is a great choice for hunting or many other uses like hiking, survival, plinking etc. This one is also fitted with an EGW optics rail.

I can load .223 Rem cheaper than buying .22 WMR these days, so this one may have to go.
