This Remington Model 7even, in .243 was purchased used for the primary purpose of hunting small deer. It can also be used for Varmints or Small Game with handloaded ammunition although it is not as economical as the .223 Ruger above.
What’s Next? Spring 2022
I should probably just start off at ground zero, load some hunting capable ammo and work out from there. Following that I’ll focus on some small game loads.

What’s next? Spring 2022
I’ve got the rifle, 2 x 5 shot mags, 1 x 10 shot mags, and a bunch of range brass. Load up some light rounds to fire-form the brass to my rifle. Proceed from there. First thing, needs a decent sling!
