This is a good look at a variety of West Coast Fishing Jigs!
I would normally add a chunk of bait to the hook as well. These would be something that is used for Ling Cod and other bigger bottom dwellers!
The last time I used these I was fishing at about 120 Ft. depth, they were almost too light for the current. I did manage to get a nice big Dogfish on that trip.
