Intended Use
This was my backup gun for grouse hunting with my recurve bow. If the shot was risky then this would be employed instead of risking the loss of an expensive arrow.

Maximum range on this? Realistically, about 10 Yds.

- Fully Adjustable Rear Sight
- 8″ Barrel

Traditional top break action, single shot, spring piston, single shot airgun.
Controls

Grips

Sights

These air pistols were fitted with a fully adjustable rear sight, it was finicky but it worked.

Optics
The Tempest was never designed for optics of any kind. The Typhoon did have an optional optic in it’s day but I have not seen one.
Magazines
Single shot, one at a time. haha
Accessories
Holsters

Lights
Neither the Tempest or the Typhoon were ever designed to be be used with lights.
Ammunition Handling
If it was 1970 I’d say you keep your pellets in your mouth so they are handy & nicely lubricated when you need them, but …..
What would I Change?
Nothing. These are just cool factor guns these days. The kind you dreamed of owning when you were a kid and occasionally they come up for sale.
Ammunition
Standard .177 Cal. Pellets or Darts (If you’re made of money) haha
Shooting Results
Factory Ammunition
I have tested these on pop cans at about 10 – 15 Yds. and they’re great.
What’s Next?
Nothing left to do with these, The Tempest is no longer legal to use for hunting where I live so these are both “Range Queens”.
