Controls

Stock

This is a “Mesa Tactical” brand buttstock combined with a “Surefire” brand forend.
Buttplate

The buttplate on this shotgun has a quick release latch on it. The buttpad is nice and soft.

Sights

This is a factory made purpose built “Slug & Buckshot Barrel”.

The barrel is rated for up to 3″ shells but this is only a 2 3/4″ receiver.

Optics
This shotgun is not set up for optics of any kind right now.
Chokes

This shotgun does not have any interchangeable chokes. It is factory made with a fixed “Modified” choke.
Accessories

Utility Pouch

A utility pouch is added to all my firearms that can handle one.

Light

This is a well made, rugged, forend with factory installed light. It is well designed and under normal circumstances they are very expensive.
Ammunition Handling

You’ll need some way to carry your shotgun ammo.
What would I Change?
This is a fun setup but I think I will be converting it back to traditional wood furniture and standard capacity mag tube.
Ammunition
Factory
Standard 12 Ga. factory 2 3/4″ ammo.
Handloaded
Handloaded ammo for this shotgun can be almost anything.
Shooting Results
Factory Ammunition
I built this shotgun up using used parts and have not test fired it yet.
Handloaded Ammunition
I’ll be testing all these loads soon.
Buckshot Hobo Handloads

Round Ball Hobo Handloads

Slug Hobo Handloads

What’s Next?
I’ll be testing some Buckshot, Slug & Round Ball loads soon as well.
